We loved building our garden from scratch, lavender was initially planted because it grows easily and the deer don't eat it, but we love it so much it has become our business. Here is a gallery of how it started.
It started with a blank canvas of dirt and rock.
We had a vision that this would be an amazing deck to host dinner.
We moved a lot of dirt and put up a fence.
We planted flowers and shrubs that the deer wouldn’t eat.
There were so many rocks in the yard we used them as focal pieces.
Daisy’s are one of our favorite things.
The back deck had to be a focal piece.
We started the side garden and added a cement walkway later.
That rock we dug out of the back yard and weighs over 200 pounds.
The start of the kiwi before we put the gate to the back yard in.
